Here's an email I sent out today, July 7th to my traders:
Hi Traders,
It seems it's hard to watch tv today without seeing a huge
memorial tribute to someone I can't relate to very well.
Instead, here's a few sites paying memorial tribute to people
I honor and respect - our military, our police, our firemen:
Our Men and Women In Uniform

The 9-11 Heroes

http://www.9-11heroes.us/911-heroes-song.php

I thought a little BALANCE is in order. Personally I have a
lot of friends in the military and LEOs (law enforcement), and
I KNOW how much they sacrifice for us all -- as a nation we are
indebted to these fallen heroes. Not the media figures bs.
Little-known fact - my best friend for years, "KP" was an active
Marine, and I almost became HPD (Honolulu PD) back when I lived
there years ago. I like military, cops, people who protect
and help us. They are the genuine heroes. I like living here
in Colorado Springs because we're a military town, and I like
the honesty and integrity of the people here.
And yes this has nothing to do with trading but so what, I feel
strongly about honor, respect for the real heroes - and wanted
to encourage all of us to take a minute to remember and honor
the folks who've made a genuine sacrifice for us all.
Why can't the @#$!% media take some of the time they've been
spending on the person in today's news, and instead provide the
same coverage to our fallen military, firemen and cops???
People who deserve our attention, respect and remembrance.
