After doing a lot of online research at Amazon.com and forums, I've gone ahead and bought the "Zune" 80Gb media player (by Microsoft, competitor product to Apple Ipod/classic).

So far it's great. I almost bought an Ipod classic, but there's so many negative feedbacks from users both on amazon.com and the apple support forums (eg "ipod classic won't power down" etc), that I decided to get the Zune instead. Anyone else use one?

I don't like using headphones/earphones since they damage hearing, so I like external speakers instead. I hope those links are helpful, it's a superb setup for listening to trading and success-related mp3s and videos.
