Sold sm shares (50) FITB into the gap up here near 7 from overnight hold; also sold overnight holds in STP RF BVF here. Will watch for possible continued strength to trade in-session. This market, given that I believe we're due for a pullback as we saw yesterday, I'm selling all gaps in my favor in premarket.

I had also bought 50 DPTR yesterday, that's down this morning; bought 50 shares here at 1.46, will be following/adding to that if it gets buyers in-session.

I like the minor gaps up in LVS MGM. I'd bought LEE into the close yesterday on volume spike, keeping an eye on that. I also have sm shares GCI that are in the red, same sector.

Also on watchlist/trading CTIC SQNM CENX and insurers, eg PRU AET ALL. Looks like FITB is continuing+, I'm going to wait til in-session to trade it further.

Closed out many small winners, decent realized P&L so far today; still in holding some that are red, waiting for swingtrade/daytrade bounces to sell them into.

Blood in the streets as a lot of stocks gapped down on open; some of my trailing stops in my fidelity sep-ira are being taken out; in my daytrading account I'm buying a lot of small shares in various stocks for swing trades.... market may well continue to sell down for weeks+, however I'm entering on weakness/bounces in many stocks for potential turnarounds, using wide stops.

Nas premkt futures are up, many stocks have decent gaps+

Bought sm shares HEB CIEN UIS premarket.

Currently I'm swingtrading long overnight holds in the following stocks; I'll be trailing close stops and using my "Momentum Doubler" tactic with them if/when they break out today:

ACAS AET AGM AIG AINV AXL BEAT BGP BLUD BVF BYD BZH C CAL CAR CBL CCC CCOI CE CENX CIEN CIT CNO COF COT CTCM CTIC CVC DDR DISH DPTR DRYS EGLE ENER FITB FOE GAP GCI GE GEOY GGWPQ GLBL GM GNBT GNK GNW HBAN GEB HGSI HIG HOV HST HTX HTZ ISLE KRG LAMR LCC LEA LEE LEN LIZ LVS LXU MAC MDCO MELI MGM MO MTG NFP NVAX ODP OIL PIR PL PRU PSSI RF SIRI SOA SQNM SRZ SWHC SWSI SYMC THC THMRQ TRMPQ UCBH UIS USG VNDA WRLD WW WYNN XCO YRCW ZION
ZLC

That's an complete list of my current open long positions in my IB account as of 9:06am EST Monday May 18th, exactly 100 open positions. They are anywhere from 2 to 1200 shares in size, most are under 50 shares, simply so I can keep track of what's open and the running P&L, then add to the winners as they move.

To success,

Ken

May 20-21: Down choppy days, mostly taking small stops, eg trying to find a bottom in EV and others, many moves that weren't strong enough to continue, a bit frustrating.

May 22: Decent up day in the premarket futures, sold partial shares of a few stocks into opening moves up, eg DRYS GM LEA:

Most of today, and wed/thur were bad trading days for me; I overtraded and tried to catch too many bottoms -- this wasn't a great week for trading. "Sometimes you're the pigeon, other times you're the statue" I remind myself, hmmph this week I was the statue. Well next week is a few days away - let's have a better one.

May 28th, bought a bit of PPHM (50 shares) here premarket at .7; interesting to see the huge move in so many pharmaceutical-sector stocks, will also be trading BCRX NVAX and others in the sector; add to my DRYS on this spike, also new trade sm shares EXEL

Looks like shippers (DRYS etc) and pharmaceuticals are strong sectors lately, I'll be trading those today myself.

UPDATE May 28th, 1:54pm Whoomp there it is, my GGWPQ doing great for me today:

As with many beaten-down-but-recovering stocks, I'll be active day and swingtrading GGWPQ during the weeks ahead.

Other favorites include ZLC CAR BGP SIRI DDR SQNM HEB

Note that this is not a complete record of every single trade I make, since some days I may trade as many as 140-220 trades a day (!), and I usually trade every day, but may not want to take the time to make screencaps and upload them all the time. It should give you a great idea as to what winning trades should look like, using my techniques.
