Using my ADX Mastery tactics - http://www.ADXMastery.com , I captured a $110 winner in CYCC by selling into premarket gap up strength this morning before the open, at 8:38am (just 88 shares, too!):

So I sold what looks to be a high, but I've seen stocks like this continue to move up, so I'm using my 'momentum doubler' scaling up tactics to enter buy stop orders for new breakouts, in case it continues to climb after I sold it. A brilliant technique, if I do say so myself :P

These pages contain excerpts of actual trades I've made; it's not a complete record of every single trade I make. Some days I'll take trading wins or losses that I do not take the time to screencap and post online; it's a partial record of some of my trades. Note that I am not making income nor profitability claims of any kind. Most of my personal income comes from my training business, and though I'm a net profitable (small-share, under 5k shares per trade) trader, I am still working to get to where I can make more from my trades than I do from my business training traders. I make money from both. I try to capture the best highlights so you can see practical examples of what I'm trading. No representation is being made that other traders, including customers, will be able to trade like I do. Average/typical trader results are that all traders incur trading losses, since trading is a speculative, high-risk activity.

Our NASDAQ Composite is taking out new 55-day highs, note the cup pattern. I'm keeping an eye on the red ADX line to see if it takes out 40 for potential renewed momentum; and am cautious here since the red ADX is not > 40. On the other hand, it's a great long pattern since there's a bullish cup at the top. So based on that,

My Trading Strategy: I'll still enter on breakouts if the COMPQ clears and continues on up to new highs over 2320, though with small initial share size, only scaling up position size if ADX breaks > 40.

Some small-share premarket trades here, selling into up gaps since a down premarket day.

Minor net wins today so far, good market day for potential recovery, if we hold over the 2200 this week.

Feb 19th 2010 3:37pm EST market's almost closed, calling it a day today, decent small wins, only 'big' stop was LYG on swing trading stop out. I like XNPT for possible bounce play, did ok with it initially, will see if it recovers next week.
