Strong moves in casino stocks on MGM sympathy, eg LVS WYNN, big gap down in SQNM, move up in SBUX looks to has 15.4 resistance; SRZ LIZ OMX also up. Put trail stop on my 500 shares MGM in my daytrading account that are open; added to my position trading fidelity acct 1k shares mgm here.

12:18pm EST - Now it's time to have some fun with Mr. Wall Street. MGM breakout over the 9 here, let's see if it holds. As Brian Tracy says, it's how we handle adversity, that counts... so I kept a reasonably cool head... frustrating though to not have my TWS working due to qwest port block this morning!

Having a great day, here's my confirmations so far:

And despite a rocky start to the day since no trader's workstation available, I'm doing great with my P&L now:

Added size to MGM position, in both position and daytrading accounts.

2:05pm EST
TIP: I've seen on both of the times that MGM shot up quickly, there was a huge volume block 2-3 minutes before the move up.
So I'm watching to see a large volume bar, slight move up in price, then I'll buy a lot more, in anticipation of large move.
These have both happened in afternoons (study earlier day's charts). This is probably why they halted it yesterday, because
the last time they release in-market good news about financing coming through, MGM shot up 1+ point quickly.... MGM will be
one of my top stocks for daytrading during the week ahead, along with LVS and WYNN. For now looks like 8.5 area is resistance.
Note that MGM (like APOL for that matter) is exceptionally hard to day trade, because of the false b/os/b/ds near every .10 resistance;
tells me institutional traders are scalping it; "every penny counts"; I've done much better swing trading MGM rather than intraday trading
it. LVS is easier to daytrade, but not by much.

Others I'm in include APOL BGP BZH CBG CNW COCO DDR EK ETFC HP HST LIZ LVS NVAX PTEN SQNM SRZ UAUA WYNN. Most I've bought
for swing trades on strength (except ones like SQNM/ETFC on weakness for possible bounces; skeptical though).

Ca-Ching...
