Hi - how long have you been day trading the markets? What's your biggest lesson learned?

I've been daytrading since 1999, back when I had to use datek and quotetracker... nowadays using cyber and esignal is much easier.

Biggest lesson learned is to be 95% more "picky" about choosing specific market times to trade (midweek when nas premkt futs are >7, and when the compq is outside prior day's high/low), and specific patterns, eg 2-day high/low breaks and gap continuations, for over-$30/share stocks with 2 point ranges etc, and to confirm ALL entries with time and sales, speeding up, before putting on a trade.
