Traders, hi - I've gotten a few emails from traders saying they didn't know how to register properly, and/or their login hasn't been recognized (did you give it 24 hours after your initial registration attempt? that's required)... Again, the steps are:
STEP ONE: Go to
http://www.tradingtalk.com/register.php and register as a new user.
(ForexOnFire owners, register here with your members' login/pass by entering it, here you are still registering as a new user).
STEP TWO: Watch your email inbox/spam/trash filters for an email that has an activation link in it. You MUST click on the activation link in this email for your registration to proceed. Give it 2-3 hours for the email to arrive.
STEP THREE: If you do NOT get an activation email, try using a different email address,
since some ISPs (spamarrest, earthlink, aol etc) may block the email from getting to you. Again, check your spam/trash folders.
STEP FOUR: After you click the link in the activation email, the forum will "tell" me that you are waiting for approval. I will check this and approve you for posting, usually within 3-4 hours.
STEP FIVE: NOW you may post. Click on "new thread" or "Post Reply" to participate in the forum discussions. Note that your post will NOT appear immediately, because I manually have to approve all posts before they will appear (this is to prevent spammers, unsolicited ads and troublemakers from posting here).
STEP SIX: Your post will appear (usually within 3-4 hours after you post it, often much faster).
And that's it.
Remember, you need to REGISTER and then CLICK THE LINK in an ACTIVATION EMAIL you will get, or you will not be registered. If necessary, try a different email address (I like gmail.com myself) to register correctly. Any questions? Use the contact form at:
http://www.daytradinguniversity.com/faqs-daytrading.htm to contact me for help, if you've followed the 6 steps above exactly as listed and are still having difficulty registering, even after trying from a gmail.com email address.
If you still can't register, it likely means your site/server is blocking our activation emails, so
get a new gmail.com email address and register with that, though that's the last-case resort.
Thanks, and welcome aboard!
Regards,
Ken
