Hi everyone,

I have one major problem in my scanning. Once I review stocks and am ready to short a stock with my broker, I get a message which says "Stock not available for short Sale". I would like to know what a trader can do to find stocks unavailable to short ahead of time. Is there a location where stocks are identified which one cannot currently short?
